It’s really hard to find anything wrong with a 50-0 win, so I won’t. The Vols did what they were supposed to do against UT-Martin and got an exceptional first win for new coach Derek Dooley. Matt Simms looked good for the most part, Tauren Poole ran really well behind a new offensive line for two touchdowns and 110 yards, David Oku showed great versatility as well, and the defense was as stingy as ever. Things get harder next week with Oregon coming to town, but overall a great opening win in front of 99,000-plus.
